I find myself doing all that too. I also constantly am twitching parts of my body, like my feet, or my leg muscles, or fiddling with things with my hands, usually in rhythmic ways.

I also remember as a young child how I would rock back and forth on my knees in bed (I called it "rabbitting" as a kid) and it was very soothing.

I definitely do "stim", except it's in socially acceptable ways.

The thing is, I don't have the other symptoms of autism. Which makes me think maybe I have stims as a part of ADHD? I'm not diagnosed with it but I think it's likely that I have it.
