I feel this story was written weirdly. I do agree Katherine Knight became evil. But the choice of words like “spewed into the world” implies that even as a baby she was evil. But I don’t think she was. I think the insane levels of abuse she suffered warped her into becoming evil. A different life could have put her on a different path. And yes, it’s interesting that her twin didn’t turn out like her, which is fantastic, but at the same time we don’t know whether the twin had the same experiences.

I’m not saying this to excuse her, the person she became was completely a monster, and I think she bears the responsibility for that, but at the same time just the description of her as a child as some kind of inherent demon from the moment she was born, rubs me the wrong way.
