I feel the same way about the Strip. I went there for a work conference recently and the slot machines in the departure lounges for the airport set an immediate bad tone. There were some cool things in Vegas (the RPDR Live show for one) but even the interesting buildings with beautiful paintings on the ceiling had slot machines going at the same time as newscasts of the bombing of Gaza... it was stomach churning. And then some hotels were beautiful, like the Wynn. But all that beauty came at how many people losing their livelihoods? It's depressing as fuck. Same with all the people trying to sell sex. Not that selling sex is inherently wrong. But they don't care if you're in a committed relationship. They want you to cheat. "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" is their motto. No. That's not my morals thanks.
