“Deep-seated fear” and “complete trust” are two VERY different and mutually exclusive things. If I am being dominated I want to feel *anticipation*, the nervousness of not knowing exactly what’s coming next, but the knowledge that whatever it is, I’ll enjoy it. That’s not “deep-seated fear” though. Fear is wondering “is the man I just let tie me up, a serial killer who will kill me”.

Anyone who deliberately induces FEAR in their submissive, is someone I wouldn’t want ANYWHERE near me.
