I don't get why you're so outraged. For men, having sex is a way to express love. It's not just about wanting to cum because you can use your hand for that.

Rejecting a man's attempt to connect with you physically in their preferred love language - especially in the mocking way you did? It's going to feel like you're rejecting their love as well and mocking them for wanting to express it in their preferred way. No wonder he was upset.

You're well within your rights to not want to have sex that day, or any day. But why mock him for wanting it? It's not an outrageous thing to want from a spouse. You should see it as a compliment.

Why should he be sorry for asking? Why should he apologise for not reading your mind and knowing you're not in the mood? He shouldn't. You're being unreasonable.

You don't have to have sex. But you don't need to mock someone you allegedly love and imply they're a bad person for wanting to be intimate with you.
