I agree it's over and I think it is a good thing. I think now it would be a good idea to stop writing about this guy.

Stop feeding his ego by writing about him.

If you knew your ex was writing about you then you'd probably lurk to read it too. Especially if your ex knew your real identity and could ruin your life by exposing you to your spouse. I think he could well have been keeping tabs on what you wrote to make sure you didn't blow his cover.

Perhaps he was reading out of fear. Perhaps he was reading out of curiosity. Perhaps he was reading out of ego because it makes him feel special to see someone he had an affair with write obsessively about him for seven years.

Point is he's living rent free in your head. Stop feeding him.
