Honestly the whole "women only go for perfectly model handsome men who have chiseled abs and/or make 6 figures" DOES NOT BEAR OUT in my real life experience.
I'm 29. Most of my friends are about the same age. Most of them are in relationships with people who look approximately the level of "hot" that they do.
Stop going off statistics about dating apps that are 90% bots for their "female" accounts. Most women don't use dating apps. Most women don't apply celebrity standards of attractiveness in real life. Most women don't get to the front page of Reddit for some hot take about only dating a man who will pay $100 for a first date.
I'm in a relationship with a man in prison for god's sake. He never made more than $40k in a year even when he was in the military. Meanwhile I make $120k plus per year and get compliments all the time for how I look.
I say this because I don't need to date a man with lots of money because I can make the money myself.
I am in a relationship with my partner because I love him. And I love him because we are best friends, because he's creative and hilarious and idealistic and absolutely melts around tiny animals.
