Great article, especially the comparison between how people who have been abused can turn around and abuse others.

Being oppressed doesn't mean you can't be an oppressor to others.

It's like how women can be viciously racist and still be victims of the patriarchy. Or how a man could be gay and be extremely sexist. Your oppression doesn't negate your abusive or bigoted behaviour. If that applies to everyone else (which it does), then it applies to black people as well.
