Fair enough. I mistook your comment as meaning “don’t ever try and problem solve, confront or give people a chance to grow, only discard people who ever display signs of being manipulative (which is pretty much everyone at some times).

Like all the things on this list could apply to most people I know INFREQUENTLY which is different from being a pathological narcissist or abuser. Do you know what I mean? Not every imperfect person is an abuser and I prefer to communicate and give people a couple of chances before dropping them.

For example my father gaslit me last year over something, but I called him out and we communicated and it got resolved. I prefer having him in my life cause he’s a good person overall. My mother however cannot be self aware and thus she isn’t in my life anymore.
