Couldn’t agree more. If both partners are up to date on STD tests, and appropriate birth control is taken (for me it’s Implanon), there’s no need to wear a condom. We’re all adults here, we can decide what levels of protection we need. And honestly, condoms seem to be the best protection for casual sex and hookups because you don’t know or trust the partner’s sexual health status, but for relationships or long term sexual partners, there is absolutely no need for a condom. You can wear one if you want, but if you don’t, no one should have an opinion on it except your sexual partner. That’s all.

Also, condoms are one of the WORST birth control methods. It’s really only useful for STD protection. If you don’t have one, there are many safer forms of birth control with lower failure rates.
