Cause really, the majority of media doesn’t have a storyline of men and boys being inferior. Historically it’s been the other way around.

Almost every single Marvel movie except Captain Marvel

The original Star Wars trilogy

Almost every single DC movie except Wonder Woman and Birds of Prey

Indiana Jones

Etc

All movies I saw as a kid with my brothers and strangely it didn’t make me feel as a girl that I couldn’t be successful.

Avatar the Last Airbender

Etc

These are all EXTREMELY famous stories I picked from the top of my head. In fact they are pretty much THE MOST POPULAR franchises today. All with awesome male protagonists who are heroes.

So if your kids are seeing nothing but stories about boys being in the wrong and girls being perfect, they’re definitely missing out on the majority of media lol.
