As a creative person whose day job is in something completely different, I think that creativity is something you should first and foremost do for yourself. Yes the audience is there too. But if the audience wasn't there, would you still do it? This is the only way I can stay authentic. It's why I only blog when I feel doing so will help me understand the topic better.
