Actually it’s more complex than this, inequality is more than just a unilateral “all men are oppressing all women" deal, that’s what intersectionality is about, some women are more privileged than some men, because race, sexuality, being disabled or social class can impact someone’s life even more than their gender sometimes.

Inequality is actually an EVERYONE issue but no one person should be expected to have to solve everything, we all have ways that we can help “go upstream" and dismantle oppressive systems. For example some of toxic masculinity is actually taught to boys by their mothers.

Honestly, I disagree with most of this article’s attempt to shame the OP for daring to request some assistance with becoming woke. Especially the smug assumptions that are made, like “why haven’t you done a master’s in social studies or gender studies" when only the rich can afford to do something like that without having an insane debt burden that will follow them for decades as a result.
