Actually it comes from Asia but OK. Not everything you disagree with comes from "whiteness" or "heteronormativity".
Buddhism literally came from experience of suffering, and trying to make sense of it, which led to a perspective shift and enlightenment.
It's insulting for you to write off an entire spiritual practice as being "white" and "privileged" when it's literally being practiced by millions of people (majority of whom are NOT WHITE) including the disadvantaged, the poor, the disabled, those in a war torn country etc.
Maybe do a little more research before taking the most surface level Instagram quote level interpretation of an extremely profound spiritual path?
