Actually Billie doesn't exist to be a "role" for you. She exists to do whatever the fuck she wants. So if she wants to experiment and branch out, that's up to her. For all we know she'll decide that sexy isn't for her. But a lot of young women when they reach 18 decide that they want to express their sexuality if they haven't before. Given how she so strongly adhered to her "baggy clothes" routine and it DIDN'T negatively affect her success up to now, she's clearly making this choice because she feels like it right now, not because she has to.

There are other people who can be your "role model". Lots of female music artists don't make sex their main selling point even if they happen to at the same time be good looking. Florence and the Machine, Sia, Grace Jones, Grimes, Adele etc are some of the first that come to my mind.
